What happened and what will happen with Shotgun ? We've been loosely following (because we're not stalkers) the young lady shredder and she has tremendous potential. Unfortunately however there's been no break out period so to speak and other than a handful of YouTube and other musician oriented forums she's been way too subdued for our tastes. Look, we realize she's not playing for our benefit, and that's cool, but as fans of kick ass music and musicians we simply want more of Kiana DeLeon. That's a compliment. Amidst a sea of inept wannabes Shotgun Deleon has what it takes to make it big. She just needs that big break. And the willingness to take that opportunity to the next level. Are Vinyl Records making a comeback ? Will they return to previous glorious form ? No. Although we really wish that could be true technology at its pace today simply won't allow it. Ah the days of yore when you could put some vinyl on the record player with your "upgraded" diamond needle and peruse the album covers and extras inside as you enjoyed the tunes. If you were around when Iron Maiden's 'Number of the Beast came out then you'll know exactly what we mean. Several bands are offering vinyl releases now and that highly commendable as any vinyl is good vinyl however these releases are more often personal preference or novelty rather than a prelude to the current standard. Vinyl records are still around and more may be coming. But they'll never be what they were. Not as long as technology moves forward and not backward.
